Dancing on My Heart

Just because Michael Jefferson was an ideal dancing partner, shy young Alma Craigie was quite convinced he'd make an ideal husband. She was sure he was the man she'd one day marry. A year of maturing proved how wrong she was on both counts when the right man came along!

Alma Craigie's was a glamorous, interesting life, as she and her partner Michael Jefferson slowly climbed up the ladder of success in the world of ballroom dancing. She had been thrilled when Michael chose her as his partner -- and now they had come through so much together she couldn't help beginning to think of him as the man she would marry one day.

And then, somehow, everything began to go wrong. Michael accused Alma of not trying hard enough -- and it seemed he was right, after she had managed to lose them their chances in a very important contest. And things went from bad to worse when the attractive young German Dieter Moevendahl began to show an interest in Alma -- even to the extent of following her from place to place!

It looked as if Alma was going to have to choose soon -- between one man and another, and between one kind of life and another. On which side would she come down?
