It was meant to be a simple job, helping out a friend on a cold winter's day. It turned out to be anything but.

Braeden Wolf has survived the gritty streets as much by his wits as by gun or spell, or wired up augments, and by staying low, out of sight. Street trash, suburban warlocks, vamps and other low lives are those he butts head with, not the power brokers who control what goes on in The City.

Following a trail of death, Braeden uncovers a darkness that endangers The City, and worse, draws him into the murky world where the power brokers play their dangerous, deadly games. To even survive both the darkness and the treachery may be the best he can hope for.
