AT ANIMAL ARK, Mandy Hope helps her parents treat animals of all shapes and sizes. Even outside the clinic, Mandy can't resist helping any animal in need.

Mandy's spring break is interrupted when her grandmother finds an abandoned dalmatian in her daisy patch—one that is about to deliver puppies! Mandy and James prepare to take over parenting while the dog recovers, brushing up on their dalmatian facts and prepping the clinic for the little guests. But soon the poor dog takes a turn for the worse, and Dr. Hope doubts she'll survive to care for her litter.

Mandy must prepare for the worst, but with no potential adopters coming forward, how will she ever be able to care for the pups as their own mother would?
