Curse of the Spectre

As Spectre of Dammerwald begins Ela'na is preparing to meet with the other young wolfcats of her generation for a game of 'hunter and hunted' and is waiting for her best friend, Rotor, son of Ronin to escort her from the caverns in which many of the 10,000 members of the Pack reside. Ela'na is a young, second-season wolfcat and is the only daughter of Tharr. As pups Ela'na and Rotor have been nearly inseparable. Their fathers, Tharr and Ronin are not only leaders of the hunters but in the past have served together as members of the Old Tull's private guards. Tharr and Ronin have been life-long friends and faithful defenders of the Alpha Male. Shortly after each of their births Ela'na and Rotor lost their mothers to the complications of their individual deliveries. When Ela'na and Rotor were very young, the she-wolf Helty, Ela'na's aunt wet-nursed and cared for them.
