Curse of the Regaldos

Fifteen-year-old Simón Regáldo is a soccer genius until an accident forces him to give up the game he loves. Fearing that it is part of a family curse, his father Berto falls into a deep depression and prepares to move the family back to his native Venezuela. Simón is desperate to stay in South Carolina, the only home he has ever known. There, he has a chance to be with the most beautiful girl he has ever known. But if he has any chance of finally ending the curse, he must fight to survive against both friends and enemies bent on destroying him.
