Cruel As the Grave

The body of an unknown woman is found in the River Chat near Miller's Bridge. What was she doing there? As Detective Chief Inspector Sheldon Hunter and his team begin to uncover what lies behind her death, they find themselves ever more deeply involved with the irreproachably genteel society of a small Cheshire town where, surely, nobody could have a motive for murder…could they?
