On the morning after the annual Christmas bash, Shelby Corbin woke up in the executive suite of Westbrook's department store. Beside her was Westbrook's co-owner, Dutch Vanleer. He was dressed in a Santa Claus costume. He was also quite dead.

When a panicked Shelby fled the scene of the gruesome murder, she had no reason to believe she'd been observed. But Rand McNabb's sudden attentions seemed more than romantic interest. Was Dutch's partner an ally searching for the truth about that fatal night? Or did Rand have a deadlier motive for courting the only possible witness?
