Crestfallen

Seventeen-year-old Destiny Aubrey has always been a curious girl. One night after she retreats to her favorite spot by the shore, she hears a strange sound above her head. Puzzled, she looks up to witness a violent battle between a dark-winged creature and military fighter jets. As bullets ring out, the creature plummets from the sky. Destiny heads into the forest behind the shore to locate the injured creature, with no idea that a daring adventure awaits her. After Destiny finds Jared, a dark angel, she risks everything to help him to safety. After they find refuge, Destiny cannot ignore a strange tugging at her heart for Jared. Before she can decipher what is happening, they fall for each other. But nothing is that easy. As unexpected enemies cause them to flee, Destiny realizes she wants all of Jared - even if that means putting her own life in jeopardy.
