For ninety-two-year-old poet Victoria Trumbull, Martha's Vineyard isn't just a home--it's a way of life. If there's anything worth learning about the island, she usually knows it. But even Victoria is in for a few surprises when a big-money developer sets his sights on two hundred acres of prime real estate -- and she finds his underhanded lawyer pushing up daisies.

Then a local conservation group asks Victoria to search the land for protected plants in order to keep the bulldozers at bay.
