In this long awaited sequel to ‘Slaphead Chameleon' musician Jason Campbell has now moved to London where he ekes out a living as a guitar teacher and performer. While on the tube one day Jason befriends famous American actress Sara Shriver, who has recently formed a country band and is on the lookout for new songs for her forthcoming CD. And at a gig in Islington, Jason meets two strange guys called Jamie and Ray, who have a liking for getting mixed up in petty crime. Meanwhile, down in the Surrey town of Redgate, former armed robber and career criminal Glenn Swell spends his days drinking and figuring out just what to do with the rest of his life. As all their worlds collide, Jason wonders just what he has done to deserve such a fate, and why the criminals he runs into seem hell bent on breaking his guitar picking fingers in two.
