Courting Wisdom

Nathaniel Brent, Single Spur's ranch foreman was always helping Wisdom McClure out of one misadventure after another. Would Wisdom ever develop what she desperately needed, a little commonsense! None of the stupid things that happened to Wisdom was her fault. She did not play any of the childish pranks she was accused of doing. But no one believed her. Not her father and certainly not Nathaniel Brent. Why should anyone believe she had not been the one Miss Temple saw carousing with a young ranchhand the night of the town dance. Wisdom desperately wanted someone to realize she was telling the truth before it was too late and she was forced to marry Brent.
