Country In Ruin

The year is 1865 and the Confederacy’s last ditch attempt to weaken the North with an outbreak of the “Loons disease” now threatens to destroy the country entirely.

While Sir Wesley Chamberlain desperately attempts to right a series of wrongs; the time traveler has but a few jumps left before the effects of radiation kill him. He can only hope that Abraham Lincoln will in fact be the leader that he has read about and that the world will accept the technological advances that he has introduced.

Finnegan, Declan, Priscilla O’Sullivan and their band of misfit companions fight their way through the epidemic of “Loons” in a mad race to avert the destruction of the country and possibly even the human race. Question is: are their inventions a blessing or a curse?

Wondrous futuristic weapons, a mysterious power source and flying machines powered by steam generated helium engines erupt into a time that may or may not be ready for it. The Industrial revolution just went steampunk with possible cataclysmic consequences.
