When handsome stranger Adam Fiske walked into her life, Valerie Carew fell head over heels in love. Adam claimed he was a professor visiting Val's home town for historical research, but it seemed more than a coincidence that his arrival came at the same time as a flood of counterfeit bills threatened the success of the town's anniversary celebration.
