Instead of a ring, Annree gets a hollow excuse and a wave good-bye. Suddenly single, she can't pay the bills, can't afford cigarettes, and can't possibly have a substance abuse problem...right? When her parents put her on the next flight to Hong Kong for her best friend's wedding, Annree is thankful for a break from the negativity. Even if it means pretending to be happy when she's not. At an impromptu bachelorette party, Annree meets an unavailable man who tests her heart and courage in ways she never thought possible. After a friend's frightening overdose and a barroom brawl that lands the party in jail, Annree realizes that in order to be happy she has to create her own way. And it's not going to be easy.
