Returning to California from his Grandfathers funeral, Conner is faced with challenges of his own. Finish his degree, get his teaching certificate, write the great American novel, and within the next eight years, get married and start a family.April breaks down in a blizzard, and makes it to a rest area. Conner takes a break to get a soda and snack. The world changes for them on such small things.Will April get to make the life choices she wants, or have the fates other designs for her.
