Laurel got more than she wished for

Laurel Sauder was in town for a few weeks, filling in at her father's pharmacy. Special Agent Seth Norris was passing through Bartlow, Ohio, accompanying the president on a whistle-stop tour of the region. Laurel and Seth would have one night together. And out of that special night would come a baby, created out of loneliness and love.

But for Seth, too, that night was a beginning, for on that night he'd found a home for his heart. And everything that happened after, all the good and bad things Seth never dreamed would happen to him, were like clarion calls for Seth to come home.
