Colby's Code

Colby's Code is a fully illustrated children's book that follows the journey of an adorable sea turtle, who has non speaking Autism. This book was inspired by the lived experience of one child, and does not seek to represent the entire spectrum of those diagnosed with Autism.Through the simple words and adorable illustrations, we learn that although Colby does not talk, he sees, hears, feels, among other things, and we are encouraged to look beyond our differences and find opportunities for inclusion and kindness. Colby's sea friends accompany him in this book, and have some of their own unique features as well. This book includes a hide and seek game - where even early readers can look for hidden shapes on each page.
