Code Triage

Dr. Leigh Stathos loves working in the ER where she can remain emotionally unattached to her patients. Her motto: Treat them and street them. When a single mother and her two children are admitted with carbon monoxide poisoning, Leigh is there to treat them. But she soon discovers that the police officer assigned to this case is her ex-husband, Nick. And the child-care worker is the woman he betrayed her with.

Leigh is determined to put the past and her marriage behind her. But when a gunman enters the hospital and opens fire, her emotional barriers are torn down as she and the ER team are forced to treat co-workers injured in the shooting-and the man who pulled the trigger. As she faces her worst fears, Leigh is finally able to stop running and let God heal her heart.
