On a strange and hostile planet, a survey team finds they are not aloneA team of NASA astronauts embark on a 1-year long survey expedition to a newly discovered planet. Their mission is to explore and document the planet's weather, environment and useful resources, if any. But before long weird disturbances make them realize that they may not be alone.The planet has extreme weather and temperature conditions that make just basic tasks and even survival difficult. New species of plants and other life forms are strange and in some cases deadly to the unprepared. Like the original settlers on the American frontier they must be resourceful and self-reliant. One year is a long time for a small group faced with unknown dangers and challenges...will they complete their mission goals or will they suffer the fate of many pioneers in an unforgiving new land.
