The Kaleidoscope Circus is the only world that Patty Jones has ever known. She also happens to find herself responsible for the wellbeing of her entire troupe of wandering misfits. That troupe includes her orphaned cousin Alison and a Scottish ladies’ man named Cassidy. Her destiny seems to change when Trent Leary, a smooth talking young lawyer, approaches Patty with an opportunity that could change life as she knows it forever.
