Clarissa Taylor Cartwright refused to be defeated by the fire that destroyed her home. Without telling her mother Katherine or Aunt Lydia, Clarissa sought the services of the world-famous architect Barnaby Rhodes. Barnaby's terms were unusual-and scary. While he designed a dream house, Clarissa would pursue the one dream she'd always feared was beyond her reach.
