Ivy has a rude awakening, not only is she confused but she starts to feel isolated. It is unclear what is causing her fears, until she has a confrontation with Jason and finally gets to meet his brother, Daniel. Her world is turned upside down by both of their announcements.



In his desperation, Caleb tries to intervene by revealing his true affections to Ivy. Daniel gives his final warning to Caleb. He will not allow Caleb to manipulate Ivy or prevent him from creating the world that he has spent centuries building.
