The chance to escape the city for a tranquil countryside village is a gift to Dr. Henrietta Mason. Working as a local doctor and caring for her sister's children just might be the balm for her broken heart. But she's not the only one with a soul in need of some tender loving care.

Dr. Matthew Cazalet is single, and that's how he intends to stay. But when the beautiful new doctor arrives in the village, he finds himself longing for a different future--a future with Henrietta.
