It shows PRESIDENT KENNEDY & JACQUELINE KENNEDY, coming nearer in the presidential limousine, waving to crowds (+ GOV JOHN CONNOLLY, MRS. CONNOLLY, SECRET SERVICE AGENTS & DRIVER) along DEALEY PLAZA. We hear shots. PRESIDENT KENNEDY is hit once and his elbows go up. He is hit again & he slumps against JACQUELINE KENNEDY.RESEARCHER DENT stands in front of the film, which continues - reflected across his face. RESEARCHER DENT: Stop the film.SCIENTIST turns to DR. SONDERGAARDE, who nods. The film is frozen just before the fatal impact. DR. SONDERGAARDE: Why?RESEARCHER DENT: Because the President's head explodes! DR. SONDERGAARDE: (shrugs) Well...maybe this time, it doesn't.
