About This Book
This collection is mainly short stories, poems and “rants†from 1981 to 2012, covering themes such as: dole life, the 80’s inner-city riots, football hooligans, photography exhibitions, getting old, seagulls, French existentialism, LSD, the gutter press, sex, London, drugs, BDSM, rock n roll, Israel, religion, death, philosophy, Elvis, more sex, Maggie Thatcher, my grandad and mortality - basically anything I managed to cling onto in printed form over 30 years â€" a little gem from (nearly) every year. Most of my plays are published elsewhere. Alone, The Little Boy, Madman Comes to Dinner, Oxygen, Haunted, Atomic Bum, A Dance, Allegedly, Moonlight and Loop were added to music and became registered recordings by Insan Zoo in France in 2011.
