About This Book
Once upon a time, before children came to live on the Earth, The Kingdom of True Believers in Imagination was built to protect them from the dream stealers and anyone who would scour out and remove the precious hopes, wants, and dreams that lived in their Imaginations, the language shared by all that existed. The Box Keepers, the Crones and the Others were assigned to this task. They set up camp and searched until they located an old, rusty, deserted shoe box factory in a vacant lot on the edge of what would someday be a Big City. They set to work and soon they were done. The outside of the Kingdom still looked like a rusty, abandoned, ordinary old shoebox factory, but now it had a Bilevel Lunpunvious guard hut, and a disappearing Venpenious Periscope disguised as a chimney stack. After checking all points due East, West, North and South, they constructed a high fence around the rusty, abandoned old shoebox factory, and posted large "No Trespassing " signs on it. Then they locked the gates to the factory and retreated inside, locking and barring the doors behind them. Opening the Book of Children that had been given to them by the Moon, they assigned the protection of the different parts of the Kingdom's Mighty Outlands to the Magicians, Giants, Seers, Warlocks, Oracles, Soothsayers, Fortune tellers, Fairies, Elves, and all of the Others who were to live there. At last they were ready to place the first Magic Box into the Kingdom of True Believers in Imagination for the first child that would walk the Earth. From that ancient beginning, clear through this very moment, all of the Earth's children have had their own Magic Box kept safe in the Kingdom of True Believers in Imagination... A Christmas book of seven fairy tales illustrated by the author.
