Christmas Cowboy

Sweet, clean, western romance short story.

Brock Lawry was riding past Tillie Grangers the day before Christmas when he saw Elaine outside chopping wood in the howling wind and snow. He realized he hadn't checked in on her since her ma's death and knew she had a hard life and was now raising her twin bothers, Chance and Chuck, alone.

Once he chopped the wood for Elaine, he went into the barn and saw the present the boys had for Elaine for Christmas. It was a small blue ribbon they'd found on the road. Deciding he needed to make this Christmas a special one for the boys and Elaine, he found that he was having the most blessed Christmas and New Years he'd ever had.
