Chick's Works of Art

This fresh and lively picture book follows Chick, an artist whose colorful, patterned eggs become too flashy for the egg factory she works in. Forced to leave her job, the homeless and penniless Chick is forced to sell her artistic eggs on the street; just as she is about to lose all hope, a kindred soul takes Chick under her wing. Chick's new patron encourages her artistic vision, nurturing her talents and helping her to sell her eggs.
