Chesapeake Doctor

Lovely young Fran Talbot had a deep attachment to her home on the romantic fishing island of Tranquillus in Chesapeake Bay. She kept house for her salty, invalid grandfather, the old Captain, and helped the island's only physician, old Dr. Lindquest, to care for the ills of the islanders.

Then Dr. Lindquest died and handsome Dr. Hugh Harmon came to take his place. Fran soon realized that she was falling in love with Hugh, but he was equally enthralled by wild and exotic Tanya Walker. Meanwhile, debonair Robert Buchanan was pressing Fran to become his wife and return to his Virginia estate. Fran saw her ideal of love endangered, and only when challenged by crisis was she able to find the way to make her dream of happiness come true.
