The citizens of Dominion Falls are just getting over the chaotic, and tragic, events around their celebratory summer. Dark forces aren't done with them yet, though.

Sally is studying hard to be every bit the detective Tommy is. When a mysterious stranger arrives and initially threatens her life, Sally is in for a big surprise. New ways to expand her knowledge, and her new lease on life are laid out before her. If only the renewed streak of murders would reveal its mysteries in the same way as life.

Jane and Cole have plenty on their plate as well. With multiple businesses, many children, a new pregnancy, and the newly engaged Michael acting out in unexpected ways, their desperate for assistance. When tragedy strikes, will they make it through? Or will this be one hit too many?

As mysterious deaths begin to pile up, the search for answers begins to become desperate. Will they lose someone close to them before the killer is found?
