Dr. Eloise Porter has worked hard to become an emergency medical doctor. She has no time or inclination for romance. Not even for Rick Edge Honor, the sexy firefighter/paramedic who has an uncanny ability to make her smile, even on the darkest of days. Edge doesn't take no for an answer very often and he doesn't give up easily. He's determined to get the sexy Eloise Porter to go out on a date if its the last thing he does.
