Chasing Paths

Elsbeth has been on her own for many years and works hard day to day to get by. Because of instances beyond her control, this is where life has brought her, and she's making the best of it. She has good friends a good business and she really likes the town and the people. Her dream is to have a family someday, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen, at least not in this town.
Blade has always scared people. At over six and a half feet tall, and an attitude to match, there weren't a lot of people who wanted to spend time with him and frankly he didn't really care for most people, anyway. He did care for Elsbeth and became obsessed with her from the moment they met. He felt more for her than he had anyone in his life. He just didn't know what to do about it. He had yet to come up with a solution to the problem that kept them apart.
Elsbeth and Blade have been fighting their attraction for years. Is there any chance they'll find a way to be together or will one of them have to move on?
