Chase into Mexico

Boone Lucane wasn't the fastest gun in the family, but no one could match him when it came to tracking or hunting. That's why he is chosen to rescue his eight-year-old cousin, Eric, when he's kidnapped. Even pairing up with Race Lucane – whose gun is almost as quick as his dry wit – there is little chance for the two of them to find anything on this dangerous mission, except a quick death. Not only do the bandits have a week's head start, but they get into trouble before reaching the border. Death is at every turn, with Boone forced to use all of his skills, not only to survive, but to rescue and save the life of an unfortunate victim and prevent Eric from being sold into slavery and lost to the family forever.
