Successful New York real- estate agent Mara Sullivan traveled to the French countryside determined to convince a very stubborn and eccentric Luc deMontbard that it would be practical and profitable to sell his family's failing ancestral chateau and vineyards for a vacation development. But Mara's cool resolution seemed to melt under Luc's burning gaze and she gave herself to him in a moment of wild desire.
