Change of Heart

The shadow of a man she had loved and lost stood between Andrea and the young doctor she had known since her training days. Once they had been more than friends but she had used his affection as a cloak for her affair with a married man and she did not suppose he could forgive and forget. Wondering if he might still offer the security she sought, she persuaded him to renew their former relationship -- and did not know whether to be delighted or dismayed when the successful surgeon she had always loved came back into her life.
