Celebration in Purple Sage

The centennial celebration of Purple Sage, Texas, has arrived, but Jolie Wyatt isn't in much of a party mood.

For one thing, her in-laws are coming. And these nice people still wish their son was married to his first wife, Cecily, an elegant English rose who has also returned to Purple Sage for the festivities.

But when a double shooting leaves a woman dead and the town's sheriff badly wounded, Jolie finds herself trying to clear the prime suspect: her husband. But she may be too late to save her own neck as her sleuthing skills draw her ever closer to a killer.
