There was a time I would have pushed her up against the wall and had my way with her.

But now I can't even stand.

I always knew something like this might happen, but I figured it would have happened when I was in the Army Special Forces.

They say I might walk again, but until that time, I'm stuck in this wheelchair, forced to allow others to protect the woman who should be mine.

I should be grateful she's with me.

I should be thanking my lucky stars she's still attracted to me.

Instead, all I can think about is how much of a liability I am to her.

I'm here to protect her in any way I can. But who's going to save her from me?
