Granting her father's dying wish Cathleen accepts a proposal as a mail-order-bride only to discover once she reaches Casper Wyoming that her perspective groom is not please with her appearance and leaves her at the train station with no idea where to go. Benjamin Smith hasn't felt the need for romance since he was a young man. He's been busy helping his best friend build the Broken J into a prosperous ranch; a legacy for the James daughters who have been his family.
