LOON, VERMONT HAS PERFECT FISHING, A GREAT MICROBREWERY--AND A MURDERER

Spring has returned to the lush, forested mountains of northern Vermont, and Whitefork Lodge owner Max Addams and his staff are ready for another tranquil season of fly-fishing and hospitality... until a lumber company begins clear-cutting trees from the mountain above the lodge and Max's trout start dying by the bushel.

Soon Max discovers it isn't just the trout that are turning belly-up. With one close friend found dead in the water, his livelihood at stake and the town turning against him, Max must reel in the killer before he becomes the catch of the day.
