India Street returns home to Nantucket Island after two years at Harvard, two at Johnson and Wales Culinary Institute and five working in the kitchen of her teacher, mentor and friend's Newport, Rhode Island bistro. A quirky, feisty octogenarian turned spy, India's right hand assistant whose sardonic humor keeps everyone in stitches, a land exploiter whose only concession to the greening of America is stuffing his bank account with hundred dollar bills and a cast of other complex characters make this a great visit to Nantucket. Foodies will love the recipe talk in the Blue-eyed Scallop kitchen. Cozies don't get any better than this and the location is pure delight.
