Agent Sierra Rodriguez is finally sent out of the research lab into the field with her partner, Agent Prism. Focus should be on the mysterious disappearance of a renowned quantum technology expert.

Unfortunately, an ability which long ago became a curse lands Sierra in trouble within the first day. Now legendary Lead Agent Sophia Galleon is personally overseeing her first, and probably last, field case.

As Galleon leads Sierra and Prism along the oftentimes volatile intricacies of a murder investigation, she shows them just how windy the path can be to the truth.
