Carrying On

Carrying On is a tale of Nadia's escape from a cheating husband and racist in-laws to a family that gives dysfunction a new name. As she tries to grieve her dead marriage and make a living without handouts from her father, Nadia is handed a mystery to solve-- one that holds the reputations of two prominent community members in the balance. It's also a paying gig. Nadia is under-qualified and her best detective is a career criminal who is constantly being sent back to jail. Meanwhile, another case surfaces that involves two grown men, a pink Cadillac, cosmetics and drug deals. Carrying On is a comedy mystery and all out romp through the trials of family, the quest for independence and the humor that lies in the midst of it all.
