Captain Tim Wilson

Hello Folks, Let me give you a brief history of this writer. I'm a product of a small city in southern Alabama, Fairhope. It was a fine place to grow up in but it gave me a strong desire to venture out and see the balance of this world.

I graduated from Fairhope High and did the usual things a young guy likes to do: get involved in sports, football especially, and be the hero for the opposite sex. That didn't quite materialize as I hoped or dreamed but at the time I was huge or so I held such an opinion of self.

Our high school was about one mile or even less from the sandy shore of the Gulf. We'd push my friend's car and let her coast down to the shore, about fifty or more guys would be hanging all over the auto once she got rolling.

Upon graduation I enlisted in the Navy and traveled much of this world and served two years of life in the Korean War. It was not a negative duty but something I did in an honorable manner only to defend this nation then and keep her safe into the future. I give thanks to 'God' for all who have served over the years. Enjoy this story, for it is good.
