In this fun, history-based adventure of magical realism, wherein puns abound, Capitol Cat & Watch Dog team to find a missing Library of Congress (LOC) exhibit: a lock of President Thomas Jefferson's hair. Thinking that the hair exhibit may have been misfiled, character Cat-alog, who lives at LOC, guides the daring duo through LOC's vibrant collections which relate to President Jefferson's interests and hobbies. In their quest as detectives, the trio visits exciting showcase departments and holdings at LOC such as Stradivarius violins, comic books, America's classic films, Wilbur and Orville Wright papers--and more--until they arrive at the spectacular, cavernous LOC Main Reading Room.
