The Society of Jack-O'-Lanterns is old, secret, and powerful. That's where Calypso Fernandez, a vengeance assassin, is brought in by one of the council members.Calypso has a stated goal - bring pleasure to her victim for weeks, then kill him. Such is the life of a vengeance assassin. Calypso is quite good at it and doesn't see her assigned target as being a problem.Until she falls in love with him.What is more powerful, love or vengeance?
