Caishel

In order to survive as a woman on the streets, Caishel disguises herself as a male and accepts a job as Sire Ailan's page in the floating castle of Ardon, hoping to one day be free.

Not long after Ailan's new page begins working for him, Ailan realizes beneath the poor disguise is a beautiful woman. Despite his attraction to her, Ailan holds his tongue. It is Caishel who finally tells Ailan the truth, unable to keep her secret any longer. Like a caterpillar evolving into a butterfly, Caishel is finally allowed to be a woman deserving of Ailan. They marry and Caishel becomes his duchess when Ailan inherits the title and lands of the Duke of Lan.

They begin their new life in, working together to bring the decaying estate back to beauty. But when strange accidents threaten Ailan, Caishel decides to investigate by donning her street urchin disguise once again.
