Private Cory Reddick is haunted by his past. As a teenager, he had a different name: Geoff Anders. Back then, he testified against a vicious gang, and his family was hidden by the witness protection program. Now armed with a new name and superior reflexes, Cory starts over with Sol System Defense. Their newest ship, c-Surfer, needs his talents. The c-Surfer test flight program is in trouble. The spaceship is beautiful, but it has its share of problems. Cory's extraordinary reflexes could be the answer to saving c-Surfer, but his past may be catching up with him.
