Burning Altars

In 1922, the burning of a church in Naperville, Illinois lands an alleged Klu Klux Klan member in jail. Decades later, P.I. Bill Habermann finds an unexpected visitor in his office. Hoping to reopen the case, the young person claims that he is the grandson of the man who spent nearly 20 years in jail for the crime. The youngster says he has evidence that proves his grandfather is innocent. After a devastating turn of events surrounding the boy, Bill Habermann works ferociously to investigate the case.
