BUBBLEHEAD is a comic novel about a group of weirdos, oddballs, nitwits, the certifiably insane and the technologically very challenged and how their concerns intersect in Washington, D.C. and its environs. That's where batshit-crazy, GOP senator Harley Bomb 'Em Over There, So We Don't Hafta Bomb Em Here, Hokum introduces a bill banning toe fungus, whereupon the senatorial cuckoo-birds line up behind it. So do supermarket tabloids, with tales of lizard people in congress with toe fungus from outer space. The latest in the series that started with CARBON and most recently ended with BOOBY PRIZE, BUBBLEHEAD features the characters familiar to readers of those books and a few new nincompoops, too.
