Broken Willow

This is the story of events in the most undimmed families that occurred by the lapse of time. Broken Willow is a lake resort located North of Indian Rock, Ohio. Vines cover the unoccupied school house, yet the faded Buckeye logo on the marquee is still readable. The local drugstore at the comer of Main and Weeping Waters, has been serving the people of this area for many years. Tucker Noble has lived here all his life. He married his high school sweetheart, Monique Hempy, after graduating from college. Monique is pregnant with their first child. A child she had waited years for. However, this pregnancy comes with a price. After conceiving, Monique developed a heart condition that could very well kill her during delivery. Tucker's heart is heavy as he stood tall next to the window looking out. Yesterday an Arctic wind blew softly into the area dropping temperatures to a record low. He turned from the window and watched the glowing sparks floating from the burning logs, and up the chimney.
